Levels of the ISEE

Primary Level

For students entering grades 2-4

Sections of ISEE Primary Level:

  1. Auditory Comprehension – Students listen to a passage and answer questions.

  2. Reading – Basic comprehension and vocabulary

  3. Mathematics – Basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, and number sense.

  4. Writing Sample – A short picture-based writing prompt (not scored but reviewed by schools)

Lower Level
